On-Site TESOL Weekender Course Methodology |
| Our TESOL Weekender course is 20 hours of intensive training, but we make sure it's both instructive and fun. Rather than following the traditional "lecture" mode, our course is active and hands-on, making you the focus. In other words, you won't be sitting in your seat listening to a "Sage on the Stage" talk about what you should do; nor will you be reading from a text. Rather, your learning will take place through a continuous dynamic of action, feedback and reflection. In short, you will actually be "doing" the material with both your course instructor and classmates. You'll be surprised at how much fun you will have had by the end of the course. |

| Need more TESOL hours but don't want to commit to a lengthy (and pricey) on-site course? No problem: just combine our TESOL Weekender course with our convenient and highly affordable selection of online certification courses. Our online courses, which are "study-at-your-own-pace", can be taken from anywhere in the world. Log in from home, at work, or from anywhere you have an internet connection. You can work on the course before, during, and after the weekender course.
In the online course, candidates will receive an overview of TESOL and the theories that inform the field; be introduced to elements of phonology and grammar; reinforce effective teaching techniques learned in the Weekender course; continue to develop lesson planning skills; review classroom management strategies; and explore teaching development and employment options. Colorful visuals, simulations, and state-of-the-art content ensure that your online learning experience is engaging and "hands-on".

Upon successful completion of the Weekender course and your online course, you'll receive a fully accredited TESOL Teaching Certificate consolidating all of your course hours. |
